Before gang points were introduced how did you upgrade a gang?
The only upgrade available was extra member spots.
So everybody hideout had the same amount of hit points.
There were no hideouts. We fought for Respect. Respect was obtained via PVP combat against the other gang. Respect was changed to Gang Points in the initial War Code change.
When the gang reached 0 Respect the gang was deleted. Supergangs as we see now were unheard of back then.

hideouts didnt have hit points...you had gang respect...when it went to 0 your gang was deleted

That Sounds WAAAAAAY more fun than how it is now.
in a way it is and isnt....no super gangs would have existed unless they had all the top players in it

It was more fun lol but then the respect thing changed it went from if you had 100 gang respect i think and the lowest it could go to is 10 because Stunderbuttz kept moaning that everyone kept destroying his gang.
I came to this gang when the respect thing was ripe lol but then a month or 4 months later it went to the no destroying gangs respect (lowest is 10)
