Not sure but I think it is +.1 for each level.

as for borgs
it depends because ltough it's true that they can help in battel the loss of humanity means less happiness refreashes and that means more time between gym trains or a bigger credit cost

The more expensive ones require less humanity
I do not recommend it.
It will slow down your progress, for not a whole lot of difference.
Once you will be higher lvl, you'll be able to "spare" a little more humanity than what you got right now.
Once your humanity drop below six you become a full blown borg with slow happiness refresh. Over time you will become human again. I borged up at level 15. took about a year before being human again. Think about it and choose wisely if you take that route.
