Possibly to see how well a new weapon works OR it's a newb that hasn't hospitalized anyone yet and they're attempting it to see how it differs.
i do it to restore happiness and not gain xp
Usually try the hosp thing out to:
1) try new weapon
2) Attempt best hit
3) To see max hosp time possible
Add "misclick"
Been seen often before
