Is there anyway of gaining Intelligence to gain a promotion for the first level jobs, without using credits?.

Some of the beginning-level college courses provide intelligence needed to advance in your job rank without the need for using precious credits on intelligence upgrades.

Without giving away too much information, computer courses are a good place to look, but other classes also provide intelligence. Only downside is you have to spend time waiting for the course to complete.

Perhaps ask around to see what other players are receiving in classes they have completed. You might be surprised at some things.
