You are currently earning a 10% annual interest rate on your deposit. This comes out to a daily 0.027% rate on funds in the bank rounded down. Your estimated daily interest is $229. There are no fees to deposit or withdraw funds from your account.
maybe since everything else in this game is inflated maybe the interst should go up eiehter for normal account or like 15 day investments or something
What else in the game is "inflated"? Seems like prices are pretty stable to me.

Good question, I'm curious too on this 1.
price of guns,armor,housing,ect
The only aspects of the game with dynamic prices are the credit market and the housing market. Even those are stable though.

my whole point of this is that it would be nice to have a long term investment option

The AL bank gives 10% interest per year with zero risk. Compared to the real world this is pretty much unheard of.
When I think of "long-term investments" I think of something more secure. Security comes at a price, and your interest earned should be LESS than a normal rate. It really cannot get more secure than the good old AL bank, so higher returns would have to be countered with risk.
I'm not sure I want to make AL a banking game. The interest earned on your bank account is pretty high as it is.
If there were investment options higher than the bank, I think it would have to be community-based rather than creating money out of thin air. Otherwise the economy changes.

the prices of guns and armor dont fluctuate unless theyre on the market. housing changes prices from time to time, but it doesnt seem like a big jump.

yeah but they are very high compared to interest only being maybe 3 times greater then normal
why base ur income on the interest from the bank? why not work for it doing crimes?
