At least we know one thing, AL currency does not depreciate over time like the US dollars.

Perhaps if there was a belt that cost 1mil and had no recharge costs.Just like another type of armor rather than magnetism drek.

Hey biff, do you know what weapon your opponent was using? Maybe belts help more on high accuracy/low crit weapons?

T450

these 2 battles were against the same opponent without any belt

Opponents JohnRambo ******

Damage Received 1,620 2,337
Damage Resisted 310 537
Actual Damage Taken 1,310 1,800

19.1% resisted.

Opponents JohnRambo ******

Damage Received 1,810 1,305
Damage Resisted 288 272
Actual Damage Taken 1,522 1,033

15.9% resisted.

This battle was with the same opponent and with the new fantastic awesome belt

Opponents JohnRambo ******

Damage Received 2,018 1,101
Damage Resisted 330 287
Actual Damage Taken 1,688 814

16.3% resisted.

As you can see it actually did worse that with no belt. The average save without a belt was 17.5% and with the belt 16.3%This is based on the actual % resisted to the actual damage received. Consequently with its very high recharge and weight it has to be the lamest addition to the game ever.

This is the 4th belt and everyone supposedly better than the rest. For the price of the belts and each subsequent upgrade you would expect to see some real result. Its another rip off.

How much time between those attacks. I looked in the logs and I see the last attack you have listed with armor shielding. I do not see the first two you list against that opponent.

EDIT

I see the attacks now. The first two he attacked you. The last one you attacked him.

Let's put aside the fact you resisted more total damage with the belt. Comparing percentages won't give you the most accurate representation of effect unless you have hundreds of samples. In your examples the hit with the belt included a major critical hit that the other two did not.

The first attack you were hit 14 times. You resisted 22 per hit. His max hit against you was 184.

The second attack you were hit 13 times. You resisted 22 per hit. His max hit against you was 203.

The last attack with belt you were hit 10 times. You resisted 33 per hit. He had a couple of crits against you, with the max of 520.

So with this extremely small sample size, you are resisting 11 more per hit with the belt. Percentage-wise, that's a pretty sizeable increase.

Loki

Perhaps you were encumbered

Perhaps your target used gang backup or protection

Perhaps they have a GCB

No
I doubt it
Would have been the same either way.
biffbaffboff Wrote:Do i really want to recharge this belt at huge expense to see what one battle already showed me?.That it fared no better atall. If this belt is so good then i should have seen instant results. It is the 4th upgraded version after all.

Put another way if i swapped my SB1's for the T250 i would see the difference. After all the SB1's are the 4th higher upgrade to the T250.

Why should i expect anything other than substantial gains. No belt V 4th upgraded belt fully charged.. I should have seen instant results.

youre exactly right, i couldnt agree more.
All I can say is that Manufacturing career start to become more attractive by days.
