I couldn't see the benefits for these in gangbattles, however maybe these stat modifiers could be used to advance in weapons, with no effect on gym trains with End modifier for example. Would open it up for non-donators to get weapons which require high End/Intell, but can't afford the End/Intell in credits so they get a mod. I dunno, just an idea.
