to possibly have a little indicator on the normal site pages (gym, jail, home, etc.) that indicates that there is a gang war when one is in progress? From a rp perspective, it would be big news if two gangs went to war.. doesn't make sense that it could go unnoticed.. this would also allow other gangs to easily notice it and jump in.
Another thing, when your gang goes to war, is declared war on, surrenders, or receives a surrender request, that should show up in your events. If a gang is destroyed, it should show up in everyone's eventlist.
When I was in OS for a while they declared war and ended a war all without me ever knowing until after the fact...
