I strategically thought that I was way better building up a few than to max one… I may have been wrong.
Yeah, 1 rank in each of the defensive ones essentially negates 1 rank of the offensive.
I just figured, it's been 10 years since skills were released. It took 2 years for me to hit 11. Figured hitting 20 would be in the cards for someone who stayed active if the prior investment curve held steady. Going off of foggy memory, may be off base

I found this from August of 2008 just before I started, so it has been at least close to 14 years for skills.
