If money and stats were not an issue, which weapon is good goal to reach for?
In your case id suggest the T250 XD.
if money and stats weren't an issue the stormbringer (ranged) would probably be the best goal, although if you must go melee the ionized razor whip lands some pretty good hits too.
Age old question.....imo more stats are needed at higher levels for melee than ranged. Saying that, melee may have the potential if the stats are right for slightly higher criticals.
IMO you see better results quicker with the ranged weapons. I've dealt some massive hits with the melee weapons, but they are not as consistent as the ranged weapons. You equip an SB1 gun and you will be burying people instantly.
