That would be game uptime, not server uptime. Since the server is located in a data center, just because the game becomes unavailable to the players does not mean the actual server is down, just that access has been prohibited.

That's pretty much exactly what Zen told me too. I asked about it shortly after the hack because I thought it should have reset as well.
