"Fixed a couple of issues with the gang-bonus in combat. Gang size has more of an effect now than before."

i wasn't aware the size of one's gang had any effect during battle. Anyone with a well thought out, interesting to read explanation?

When not in war:
Defenders have a slight bonus to defend if they are in a gang. It is to signify the attacker going into the defender's gang turf.

When in war:
Both the attacker and defender have a modifier. Previously this modifier didn't weigh the gang size much. It now has more of an effect. This was done because larger gangs DO have some form of advantage, even if they are weaker than their opponent.
