Anyone can participate. You don't need to be in a gang to win the individual prize. You obviously won't win the gang prize if not in a gang however. Points earned do not switch gangs if you happen to move to another gang. Points earned when not in a gang only apply to your individual total.

So if you earn 100 points in gang A, ditch gang A and earn 200 points while gangless, then join gang B and earn another 200 points, you will have 500 points, gang A will have 100, and gang B will have 200.

The shootout will happen at Awakened Lands gun ranges throughout the city. A link will appear to make it easy to find. Each time you participate you will earn points similar to a gym training session. A listing of the points earned will be posted for both gangs and individuals.

Where do we sign up or will that be the day of the event

Will this be like the easter egg hunt where we can go to the shooting range at random and pop off a few shots?

will all gun ranges work the same or will midlan score differnetly than downtown

You don't need to sign up. It will be similar to the easter egg hunt where you can go to the range at any time during the event. All ranges will score the same. I just wanted to give people advanced notice that the event will begin on May 1st.
