Why does our AP not go up at all?
It makes since that in jail we'd be busy doing other crap but we would still have some time to plot our escape for example. Maybe our AP could go up, albeit at a much slower rate, to give a lil extra boost to escape attempts.

You can't perform any actions while in jail. You are being punished for crimes while in there, you can have energy, that's it. The only action you get in jail is to be raped.
I like it the way it is. If you're ap went up while you were in jail you would never use the 25 cred bail out, nor would you ever be stuck in jail for any length of time. It's more fun the way it is, gives a little more of a challenge & strategy.

You can't perform any actions while in jail.
You would be horribly wrong. You could throw doo doo or pee pee. Could make a shive and cut a punk. Could make some elaborate scheme to escape, or plot to fight a rival gang. Bribing the guard to smuggle drugs in. Could sell those drugs.
You have MORE than ample time to do, and think, while you're in jail.

Or you could be like dnbrocks and suitcase copious amounts of drugs in. I hear he got a player piano in one time.
Better yet, make energy useful for some in jail options.
ie. attacking someone else in jail, fists only
xp if you win...but both parties in jail for longer, and the person who lost gets hosp time on top of that, with time served not counting down again til hosp time is finished.
