so then why does criming take experience seriously (as it should) and combat doesn't? that doesn't make sense.

Level matters in the combat code, contrary to what some think.
if they maters it is so small that it is not perceptible

I know it matters, but it's obviously not significant.

Don't wanna sound rude but you guys are starting to sound like you want levels to matter to a point where a lvl 30 would never ever lose to a lvl 26-27, no matters what each stats are.

That wouldn't be right if you ask me.

matt5250

no, I want levels to matter to a point where a lvl 30 wouldnt lose to a lvl 22 unless the lvl 22 had at the very least double his stats
acctually i was 33 when i lost to 22 :?

TheGeek

maybe if levels had the additional effect of a critical strike multiplier... say plus X to critical strike chance per lvl above your target or attacker. that way its not overpowered, but at the same time can be advantageous.

Chris Mangano

If you're level 33 losing to a level 22 maybe you need to actually train your stats. Just a thought.

matt5250

at the rate it's going chris all us lvl 34's will be losing to a lvl 27 or 28 in the not too distant future.
