There really needs to be one forum dedicated to trash talking and insults...
The humor value is always great but it loses so much (and wastes time for you Mods) to be chopped apart. Have it have a rule that if you talk there, you're welcoming a load of troll turd to be dropped on ya. Just sayin... But really it'd be great if there was a forum dedicated to the in game general topics that could remain "clean" and another fun humor bash fest where everyone who wants to take the piss can do just that. Let the forum choose what should be moderated on it. If someone steps outta line, let the people come down upon said person.

It is (after all) just a forum. A place where people can say anything they like without the repercussion of any real punishment. Take it with a grain of salt or GTF out.
I call for a reopening of the locked battleground. People are smart and responsible enough to keep out if they can't take it. In that same vein, there should be one rule for it. Don't bash anyone who doesn't post there. If you got some beef with someone but can't take other people playing with it, then PM each other. Personally I think most of the people who post in the forums enjoy the jesting and trash talking that they get involved in. Sure, some are just trollin and some others take it way too f***ing seriously, but I'd like to believe (maybe somewhat naively) that most of us are wise enough to just have a good time with it.

That battleground section was closed for a good reason by Zenith. The content was getting too harsh and someone threatened legal action.

29.Mar.10 The battleground was closed because I got a real cease and desist letter from a law firm in Chicago. It wasn't made up. I wish it was. But since the person who posted child porn on the site was involved in the lawsuit, the tables turned.

Yeah, but people got stupid with it and posted the worst porn pics they could find. That should have been removed right away, "unmodded section" or not. That wasn't the point of the battleground section and I can't blame zen for shutting it down. Even being unmodded it should have had some rules. It can work, but it's not going to be truly unmodded.
