OK so here's the update...

I've met with my attorney and had a conference call with the threatening firm yesterday (pretty much all day). I researched who posted in there and from where it happened and realized a former banned player made another account (which has since been deleted).

This person POSTED pics of someone (or a portion of that person) who ended up being underage. Then they got a law firm to send a cease and desist letter (basically, stop it or face legal action). To cover my arse I decided to take it down completely until I learned more (took my attorney's advice on this).

The section will be opened again eventually, but with new rules and more hoops to jump through to get access. Apparently it's just too easy to get to. It will have to be moderated unfortunately. All this will be done by recommendation of my attorney so I won't have to worry about it again.

What's the next step for me? That's what I'm discussing with my attorney now, since what happened definitely is not something I can just ignore.

So, who's the banned player???

how can someone sue you for something they posted?

or am i misunderstanding...

furthermore did anyone else notcie someone out of the ordinary in that section, because i didn't..i didnt read every thread in their but everybody in that section i have seen in gen discussion before..

Your lawyer is not knowledgeable in the ways of the internet. Fire his sorry a$$ and get someone who knows what they are talking about. Beside the underage thing, you can do what you want.

yeah, its all about the underage thing. thats really it. everything else is free game, you put up warnings, you have to have an account, there is nothing else you can do

porn is legal as long as all participants are 18+ and all viewers are 17+ (you have to be 18 to buy porn and 17 to view it... dont ask me why... thats how it is in most states at least....)

so... seriously, whats the problem here?

I think it would be a really bad idea for me to be able to Mod this section. Just say'n.
