WTF?

I'm not saying I should have won. But the possibility of scoring 75 as a high hit out of 28 different hits is close to impossible, unless that person kills me in two rounds, wich did not happen.

AND, on the other side, I highly doubt that this player could only hit me for a high hit of 52.

I know he has high res, but it would show high absorption, not low original damage.

Enlighten me.






How weird...

In our gang war history, I don't have any gang battle stalemates with Bangnapi. In fact, it shows nothing at all.

However, in our pvp gang logs, it does show 2 stalemates.

(can also be seen in my ares fight logs)

So, bug?

Or none issue?
Stales don't show in the war log, only pvp. It's been that way at least since I've been here, but I don't know about before.

What's even crazier than the 1 high hit of 75, is that for the remaining 27 hits, you averaged 32.3 per hit. That's his massive res, I guess.

Yeah, I dunno. That's like 26 points per hit if you take out his best of 52.

I had my Ono equipped.

that might have something to do with it....don't think bang spends too much time training anything else.
The candy also provides resistance to hits. If you are attacking someone who has used candy and received a combat defense bonus, that could lead to those results.

False, urban legend.

The higher the resistance, the less damage you take from hits.
The better the armor (and/or helm and/or belt) you wear, the more damage you will resist.
(Armor skills also affects these but I never really studied those, ask Poptarts for that part)

That 27 average resist shows he was probably using the Tib2 armor and helm but no belt.

Bang's build is somehow just special. Part of me wants to see his set up, and part of me likes the mystery. He is obviously top in res and he is strong in manufacturing as well. I would be surprised to learn he has anything but defensive skills. He is the immovable object of AL. I don't know where his Res stops, but I can easily believe it is 2x any of his offensive stats. It is a unique, extreme build and has to be respected for that, even if the top offensive players can beat him.

He is kind of a check point for your ability to do damage. I looked at the day I could finally consistently beat him as a notch in the belt. Kind of like when you reach the top 50 or beat an armed inactive or npc.
